Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive history and physical exams
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and therapies
- Provide preventive services, screenings, immunizations, and wellness exams
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory conditions
- Perform minor procedures like suturing and joint injections
- Educate and counsel patients and families
- Coordinate referrals and ensure continuity of care
- Supervise and collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records
- Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives
- Follow clinical guidelines and organizational policies
- MD or DO degree with residency in Family or Internal Medicine
- Unrestricted medical license and board certification or eligibility
- DEA registration, BLS (and ACLS if required)
