ICU Clinical Nurse PRN

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care settings.

Responsibilities

• Fosters a healing environment through patient and family education and support.
• Participates in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs, considering values, cultural, and spiritual factors.
• Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and barriers to involvement in care.
• Works in a safety-sensitive role, maintaining constant alertness to ensure safety.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Licenses: Valid RN license required.
• Experience: No experience necessary; 2 years preferred for advanced roles.
• Additional: ICU experience preferred; ability to work days and nights; strong collaboration and communication skills.
