Responsibilities Include
- Assess patient conditions, support, monitor, and treat critically ill or injured patients.
- Utilize critical thinking and support physicians’ orders.
- Ensure aircraft safety, equipment checks, and compliance with safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and document accurately.
- Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing training.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in Emergency or Adult Critical Care nursing.
- Current RN license in applicable states.
- EMT and Trauma certifications as required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications (NRP provided during training).
- Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) within 24 months of hire.
- Prior flight experience.
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
