Key Responsibilities Include
- Performing advanced life support care and documenting patient information accurately.
- Completing daily safety checks, including narcotic counts, and ensuring equipment readiness.
- Participating in pre- and post-mission procedures, including briefings and checklists.
- Assisting with aircraft safety, maintenance, and crew coordination during missions.
- Maintaining required licensure, certifications, and continuing education.
- Fostering positive relationships with team members, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
- Filling open shifts and adhering to safety standards to ensure crew and patient safety.
- Minimum three years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
- Current EMT-P certification in the applicable states.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma; FP-C within 24 months.
- Preferred instructor certifications and NREMT-P in certain areas.
