Job Summary
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. Performs various imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, ensuring accurate and high-quality images. Assesses, plans, and evaluates patient care for individuals across age groups, from adolescence to geriatric. Maintains patient records, manages equipment calibration and supplies, and adheres to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations. Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images appropriately. Performs routine equipment maintenance and other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills

Qualifications & Skills
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT or equivalent)
- Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and ARRT-Computed Tomography
- Preferred advanced certification in CT and additional licenses in fluoroscopy and venipuncture, depending on location
- Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and knowledge of patient care standards
- Ability to operate imaging equipment and manage patient interactions effectively
