Role Description The Fall Studio & Operations Intern role is a part-time, on-site position based in New York, NY. The intern will support daily studio activities, including organizing inventory, preparing eyewear for display or shipment, and assisting Operations Manager in day-to-day activities. Responsibilities include assisting with order processing, pick-ups/drop offs, coordinating studio workflows, and helping track operational tasks to ensure timely delivery and smooth customer experiences. The intern may also support basic sales activities in the studio or pop-ups, such as welcoming visitors, answering product questions, and providing clear communication regarding services and policies. This role offers exposure to growing small business operations, sustainable fashion, and the intersection of design and social impact.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret basic data, identify patterns in studio operations, and support process improvements.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with customers, collaborate with the team, and convey information clearly in person and in writing.
- Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to help coordinate inventory, manage studio workflows, and maintain organized systems.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow through on assigned initiatives.
- Detail orientation, reliability, and an interest in sustainable fashion or eyewear are highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in New York, NY, and to stand or move around the studio as needed.
- Prior experience in retail, studio environments, or small business settings is a plus but not required.
