Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors regularly
- Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest needs efficiently
- Follow established safety and cleaning protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold hotel standards
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to janitorial and industrial cleaning practices
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, folding, and organizing linens
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments preferred; hotel experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and carpet cleaning
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably
- Knowledge of custodial procedures and housekeeping management practices is advantageous
