SUMMARY
To sack corn flour into 50 pound units and stack those units onto four-way pallets in a neat and orderly manner. Also to sack corn flour into 2000 and 1600 pound tote bags.
B. DUTIES
The duties of this position are those described below. This job description does not state or implies that the duties listed are the only duties responsibilities assigned to this position. Employees holding this position will be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by management.
Essential Duties: These duties directly and substantially serve to achieve the
purpose of the position.
- Maintain bag weights within range of 50.4 to 50.8 pounds per bag, by check-weighing a single bag from each pallet.
- Stack pallets by established method of typing layers together and numbering all four corners.
- Monitor printer to ensure readable lot number and product type.
- Pull samples as prescribed by Corporate Q.A. Department.
- Keep sack tank at a consistent level to minimize particle separation.
- Stack pallets neatly on irons in warehouse.
- Sweep rows before putting product in the rows
- Maintain work area in a clean and neat manner by stacking unused pallets on edge and checking for cleanliness and protruding nails; by keeping floor around sacker and sack tank rooms clean; and by re-stacking any pallets in the warehouse with torn bags.
- Help keep blendback machine filled.
- Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy conditions caused by the weather. Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds of a pitch or level sufficient to require hearing protection. Exposure to constant or intermittent dusty area.
- Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and 10 to 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Constant walking, frequently climbing ladders, stairs, etc.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience.
