WE ARE EITHER LOOKING FOR A MAINTENANCE A OR MAINTENANCE B INDIVIUDAL TO JOIN OUR TEAM. IF YOU ARE CALLED FOR AN INTERVIEW YOU WILL NEED TO PASS A BASIC MAINTENANCE TEST ON DAY OF INTERVIEW TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION.
YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO ROTATE AND WORK WEEKENDS AS NEEDED. SHIFT SCHEDULE: 7AM-3PM; 3PM-11PM; AND 11PPM-7AM.
THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR ATTENDANCE BONUS.
JOB SUMMARY: Maintenance A is responsible for general maintenance work in Production areas. Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in the plant by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:
- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
- Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment.
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
- Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
§ One year certificate from college or technical school in electrical related study
§ Three to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
§ 2 years MIG/ARC welding
Must be able to read and write English
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
§ Physical Requirements: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, vision, and repetitive motions.
§ Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
§ Environmental Conditions: Both inside and outside environmental conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, humidity, noise, vibration, hazard, and atmospheric conditions.
