- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across various areas including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance.
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks involving heavy-duty equipment and specialized cleaning solutions for large-scale facilities.
- Maintain facilities by performing light maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs, repairing fixtures, or reporting repairs needed to management.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and used safely according to safety protocols.
- Follow established health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a clean environment at all times.
- Assist with additional custodial duties such as trash removal, window washing, and minor repairs as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures.
- Strong understanding of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, scrubbers, or industrial vacuums efficiently.
