Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and improvement of our products and systems. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in mechanical design, problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and products.
- Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and sales.
- Research materials and processes to enhance product performance and efficiency.
- Analyze project requirements, identify technical challenges, and propose solutions.
- Participate in prototyping, testing, and validation of new products.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives on existing equipment and designs.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3 years of mechanical design experience, including hands-on machine design (required)
- Prior experience leading design efforts or supporting junior engineers is a plus
- Proficient in CAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Experience with FEA analysis, PDM systems, or ISO 9001 processes is a plus.
