Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, highlighting specials and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and providing personalized service in a fine dining or nightclub setting
- Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with health regulations
- Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings smoothly and optimize seating arrangements
- Upsell additional menu items or beverages to increase sales while ensuring guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service roles such as restaurant server, host/hostess, or in the food industry with a focus on guest services
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
- Previous experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is highly desirable
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty
- Basic kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous but not required
