Food Truck POS Sales Representative

ABOUT US
AZ PayTech is a fast-growing payments and point-of-sale company. We set food trucks and restaurants up with modern POS systems like Clover, with hardware at no cost to the merchant, and we handle card processing, setup, and support from start to finish. Food trucks are one of our fastest-growing markets, and we need someone to own it.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a high-energy sales rep to sign food trucks across the Phoenix metro area. You'll meet owners where they work: food truck parks, commissaries, breweries, festivals, and events. You'll show them how a better POS and lower processing costs help them run faster lines and keep more of every sale. Food truck owners make decisions fast, so the sales cycle is short and you can close a lot of deals.
COMPENSATION
- $3,000/month base salary ($36,000/year)
- 9x bonus on every account you sign. For each merchant you close, we take the account's average monthly profit over its first 2 full months of processing and multiply it by 9. That full amount is paid to you as a one-time bonus.
- Average bonus: $2,250 per deal. Our average food truck account generates $250/month in profit, so the typical deal pays you $2,250.
- Uncapped. Every account you close earns its own bonus.
Example: Close 6 average food trucks in a month and that's $13,500 in bonuses on top of your base.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Find and visit food trucks at parks, commissaries, events, breweries, and markets
- Run quick POS demos and processing-savings comparisons with owners
- Close deals and walk merchants through the application and onboarding process
- Work with our team on setup so every truck is ready to take orders fast
- Track your pipeline and activity, and hit monthly new-account targets
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Outside sales experience; POS, merchant services, or food service experience is a strong plus
- Comfortable approaching owners on the spot and starting a conversation
- Flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends when trucks are busiest at events
- Basic understanding of credit card processing (or a willingness to learn fast)
- Self-motivated, organized, and competitive
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Strong communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus
