Duties
- Operate door manufacturing machinery
- Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and tape measures to perform measurements, adjustments, and assembly tasks with precision
- Handle materials such as wood, composite materials, and other building components safely and efficiently
- Conduct dimensional measurements and quality control checks throughout the fabrication process to ensure products meet specified tolerances
- Follow safety protocols rigorously while handling machinery, materials, and tools to maintain a safe working environment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating manufacturing or woodworking machinery, with a strong understanding of shop math and measurement techniques
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and tape measures for precise measurement and assembly tasks
- Familiarity with materials handling, machining processes, and fabrication techniques involving wood or composite materials
- Strong safety awareness with adherence to all safety protocols in a manufacturing setting
- Basic carpentry skills and experience with woodworking or millwork are highly desirable
- Experience operating forklifts is preferred but not required
