What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Aesthetician position at AYA Skin?
Are you a passionate Advanced Aesthetician with a commitment to cutting-edge skincare and patient-centered treatment? We are seeking an experienced aesthetic professional ( 3 years) to join our dynamic medical spa team. We offer a collaborative environment where advanced technology meets personalized patient care, providing an opportunity to leverage your expertise in laser treatments, skincare procedures, and client consultation.
Job Summary:
Responsible for providing elective care for cosmetic complaints that can be reasonably treated with non-invasive medical grade procedures. Duties include taking medical histories, performing examinations, developing a treatment plan within scope of practice for cosmetic patients, establishing a client base and treatment administration. Must be willing to work Thursday-Saturday, and every other Sunday.
Education & Experience:
- Graduate of accredited Aesthetician program
- Assistant Laser Practitioner License
- Experience working in a medical office or med spa preferred
- Experience administering microdermabrasion, laser hair removal, laser skin resurfacing, chemical peels, and facials preferred
- Experience advising and using skincare products including Revision®, Obagi®, SkinMedica, etc.
- Experience operating Ulthera®, Coolsculpting, Sciton® and Candela machines (minimum 3 years)
