Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Assist with walking, transfers, and mobility.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating when necessary
- Provide medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide companionship and supervision
- Assist with errands and appointments when authorized
- Follow the client's care plan and agency policies
- Accurately document all services provided
- Report changes in the client's condition
- Protect the client's dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Previous PCA, caregiver, home-care, CNA, or related experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass required background and employment screenings
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to safely assist with personal-care and mobility needs
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
