Role Description
This role is a full time oppurtunity based out of the Pompano Beach, Florida office. The Service Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the service department by coordinating technician schedules, managing customer service requests, and ensuring efficient communication between customers, field technicians, and internal teams. This individual is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service while helping ensure service work is completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule service calls, maintenance visits, and repair appointments
- Serve as the primary point of contact between customers, technicians, and internal departments
- Monitor and track the status of service requests from initiation through completion
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and customer information
- Communicate scheduling updates, delays, and service completion information to customers
- Assist with dispatching technicians based on workload, availability, and service priorities
- Support billing and administrative processes by ensuring work orders are complete and accurate
- Prepare reports and assist with tracking service department metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency and service processes
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
Qualifications:
- 1 years of administrative, customer service, scheduling, dispatching, or similar experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Comfortable learning new software and technology systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with customers, technicians, and internal teams
- Previous experience in Elevator industry, construction, field service, mechanical services, or a related industry preferred
- Must reside within a commutable distance to Pompano Beach, Florida
