Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Wire Technician for a full-time, on-site role at our facility in Huntsville, AL. The Wire Technician will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining electrical wiring systems and structured cabling for aerospace components. Day-to-day responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical schematics, handling and routing cables, utilizing hand tools, and inspecting work to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Attention to detail and knowledge of electrical principles will be essential to success in this role.
Qualifications
- Experience working with cables and cabling systems
- Knowledge of electrical principles and applications
- Proficiency in using hand tools for wiring and assembly tasks
- Experience in structured cabling design and implementation
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in electrical systems is a plus
