Services Consultant with French

Overview

We are seeking our new french-speaking Services Consultant  to join the Axway team!

You will be part of our Professional Services team, configuring and implementing specific cases using Axway products for our final established customers. This is a hands-on position that requires good problem solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

We are searching for a  new bilingual colleague with a passion for technology and a burning desire to learn. Being resourceful, highly organized and independent will make you a perfect fit for our team.

You will be part of our Installation and Migration Services team,  helping our customers to deploy our products on-premise or on cloud, guiding them during the migration process to newer versions, configuring and implementing specific architecture cases.

This is a hands-on position that requires good problem solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team. For the position, you will be exposed to technologies & standards used mostly in the Accounting & Banking industries and you should be willing to work on a variety of tasks:

• Assisting our customers to deploy Axway solutions remotely

• Understanding, interpreting & implementing functional and technical specifications written in French or English

• Troubleshooting problems with new or existing deployments/solutions
• Analyzing existing implementations and following/designing procedures to reach a new target specification
• Design solutions/workarounds to solve edge cases or problems with Axway Products
• Communicating with and assisting customers via conference call or on-site
• Documenting the undertaken activities

Qualifications

Must have: 

• BS or Masters degree in Informatics, Computer Science or equivalent

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems (basic commands, basic differences)

• Basic knowledge of database concepts (understanding database design, creating/modifying tables, views, users, writing basic queries)

• Basic Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc)

• Understanding of client-server software architecture

• Experience with deployments and troubleshooting Functional and Technical Web applications

• Ability to work in virtual hybrid teams (across multiple countries) ;

Nice to have:

• Would be considered as a plus:

• Basic Knowledge for Docker, Kubernetes

• Experience with scripting tools and languages: Shell Scripting

• Basic knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, SAML

• At least 2 years in consulting/technical support role

• Experience with Java and/or REST API

• Working / being knowledgeable with banking / finance system

• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms

• Good command of French language – both written and spoken

• Strong analytical skills and incisive thinking ability

• Problem solving skills

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team

• Strong communication skills (active listener, think before acting, verbal and writing skills)

• Ability to adapt to new situations

• Comfortable in client-facing situations
