Patient Recruitment Specialist

About Us

Axon Clinical Research is seeking a proactive and resourceful Patient Recruitment Specialist to join our clinical research team. This role is responsible for recruiting and engaging patients for clinical trials using a variety of tools, including electronic medical records (EMR), social media campaigns, website integrations, and community outreach. The ideal candidate will be both tech-savvy and people-oriented, with the ability to set up digital recruitment funnels while also speaking directly with patients to build trust and guide them into trials.

Responsibilities

• Conduct full-cycle patient recruiting through phone calls, text, email, CTMS and social media platforms.
• Work with website plugins and integrations to capture leads and direct them to study landing pages.
• Develop and manage social media recruitment campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, google)
• Screen and identify eligible patients using EMR databases and patient registries
• Serve as the first point of contact for potential participants, answering questions and providing study information in a clear, compassionate manner.
• Build rapport with patients, caregivers, and community members to encourage referrals Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and patient interactions

Qualifications and Preffered skills

• Able to recruit participants in Houston, TX
• Proven experience in recruitment preferably within healthcare or clinical research environments
• Knowledge of GCP, HIPAA, and clinical trial protocols.
• Knowledge of employment laws related to healthcare recruitment and confidentiality standards
• Strong skills to identify new recruitment channels and community partnerships
