Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Strength and Conditioning Coach role located in Denver, CO.
The Strength and Conditioning Coach will deliver fitness and conditioning programs tailored to clients' unique goals, including improving athletic performance and preparing for adventurous activities. Daily responsibilities include conducting strength training sessions, focusing on safety, and providing guidance in proper lifting techniques. The coach will engage with clients, assess their fitness levels, and inspire them to achieve their personal best while upholding Axistence Athletics’ mission of promoting an active lifestyle.
Compensation for this role is $25 per class and all coaches are eligible for an unlimited class membership after an evaluation period. We are looking for someone who can coach between 3 and 6 class sessions (1 hour each) per week. Additional personal training time may also be available.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate individuals of varying fitness levels
- Expertise in Strength Training and Strength & Conditioning
- Proficiency in Sports Science and Athletic Performance
- Experience in adventure-based activities or outdoor training is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as CF-L1, StrongFirst, or equivalent are preferred
- First Aid and CPR certification required
