School Psychologists at AXIS play a vital role in helping students access learning by addressing the emotional, behavioral, and cognitive challenges that can get in the way. In a virtual model, they bring flexibility and expertise to schools that need their support, conducting assessments, collaborating with educators, and offering insight that guides real change. Psychologist Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or the U.S. Department of Education (USDE).
- State School Psychology license.
- 2 years of experience in a school setting
- Holds or is eligible to obtain all required clearances including Central Registry Clearance and Criminal Background Check.
