What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Coordinator position at Axis Therapy Centers?
About the Role:
A Clinic Coordinator will be the guide for potential clients, leading them from their initial interest inquiry to receiving their first therapy session and throughout their treatment. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position. They serve as a valuable member of the Axis team, ensuring client insurance benefits for ABA Therapy are verified in an accurate and timely manner. The Client Relations Specialist will be actively involved with the family and Axis staff to create a caring and happy experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Daily
- Respond to incoming emails
- Mail - receive, sort, scan, file insurance
- Prepare deposits - copy / file deposit slip
- Take deposits to the bank (if applicable)
- Empty office garbage and wipe down desk, vacuum when needed
Weekly or as necessary
- Scan and send intake paperwork
- Insurance Contracts
- Store contract information
- Effective dates and auto-renewal dates
- Timely filing for submitting claims and appeals
- Fee Schedules
- Credentialing
- Contacts including an assigned provider relations representative
- Request changes to contracts * Manage Provider Credentialing
- Manage Provider Accounts
- Create provider login accounts with insurance payors and web platforms
- Maintain login information for provider portals, credentialing portals, ERA (electronic
- remittance advice) platforms
- Contact support for portal if there are problems
- Share details of the information with billing company as needed
- Reset account login information as needed * Create and maintain Intake Documents
- Update documents as policies change
- Administer paperwork to all clients at intake and as policies change
- Track and follow client’s specific consent preferences
- Enforce policies and special charges as needed
