Position Overview
Axis Rental Solutions is seeking an HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations, with a focus on manager support, compliance, hiring, and HR systems administration. This role will help ensure consistency across people processes as the company continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manager Support & Employee Relations
- Support managers in handling employee performance, documentation, and disciplinary actions
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues and best practices
- Assist with performance conversations and documentation as needed
2. HR Systems & Process Administration
- Maintain and optimize HR systems (e.g., Paycom)
- Ensure accurate employee data, reporting, and documentation
- Standardize HR processes and maintain organized records
3. Recruiting & Hiring Support
- Coordinate and manage job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling
- Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
- Assist with offer letters, background checks, and onboarding logistics
4. Employee Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, etc.)
- Serve as point of contact for employee benefits questions
- Coordinate open enrollment and benefits communication
5. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with ADA, labor laws, and company policies
- Maintain proper documentation for employee files and HR actions
- Support audits and ensure adherence to internal processes
6. Training & Compliance Tracking
- Track and maintain required employee training and certifications
- Ensure completion of onboarding and ongoing compliance training
- Coordinate training logistics and maintain records
Qualifications
2–5 years of HR experience in a generalist or coordinator role
Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance (including ADA)
Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom preferred)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
