Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Machine Operator located in Colorado Springs, CO. The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery to manufacture precision components. Day-to-day tasks include setup, tool changes, calibration, and executing machining operations as per specifications. The role also involves conducting quality control checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in parts and routine maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Experience in Machine Operation and Machining, including setup, tool changes, and executing manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in Quality Control tasks, such as measuring and inspecting finished parts to meet precision standards
- Knowledge of Milling and Machining processes and techniques
- Familiarity with operating and maintaining CNC Machinery
- Attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Technical certification or relevant coursework in machining or manufacturing preferred
- Prior experience in aerospace, medical, technology, or automotive industries is an advantage
