Facilities and Maintenance Support (Laborer) in Raleigh, NC

Position Description

Working at a U.S. government facility in Raleigh, NC, provide facilities management and conduct building maintenance.

Required Skills And Duties

• Must understand the principles and practice of facilities maintenance.
• Ability to work with dollies, hand trucks etc.
• Ability to use hand tools for furniture maintenance, door repair, installation of keyboard trays, picture hanging, assembling small furniture items, etc.
• Warehousing work skills.
• Ability to tighten nuts, bolts and screws, etc.
• Ability to receive and transport office furniture and supplies (non-IT equipment).
• Ability to monitor and carry out loading dock activities.
• Ability to provide support for relocation of office furniture, equipment and supplies.
• Ability to set-up in building workspaces.
• Ability to understand Federal rules and regulations.
  
  

Experience And Education Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.
• Previous moving and/transportation experience.
  
  

Work Location

• On-site in Raleigh, NC.
• Must live within commuting distance of Raleigh, North Carolina.
  
  

Security and Clearance

• U.S. Citizenship (Required).
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
