Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a pioneer in LED lighting technology located in Hudsonville, who is actively looking to hire a qualified OEM Account Manager to oversee major accounts. The ideal candidate will be experienced in infiltrating large corporations to become a trusted partner, will be experienced in technical sales, will be highly organized and professional in their communication skills, have the ability to travel overnight up 40%, be well-versed in the automotive industry, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to quickly learn and understand specific information about the product line.
- Gain specific knowledge of all aspects of the customer’s business.
- Work closely with the technical support team to resolve any issues that arise.
- Develop and maintain an annual sales plan for assigned accounts.
- Maintain diligence in keeping the CRM system up to date.
- Provide technical advice and support to clients, using specific products and market knowledge.
- Carry out specific related projects/tasks as assigned by supervisor in a timely manner.
- Must be a strategic thinker with ability to execute tactical goals.
- Be able to initiate and develop strong relationships with others.
- Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
- Attend customer conferences, trade shows, and networking events as needed.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative to proactively evaluate existing sales strategies and recommend changes, when appropriate.
- Ability to understand and clearly communicate the “voice of the customer” to the internal team.
- Ability to conceptualize new products and features that customers will value, and to develop interest with customers for new products.
