Previous sales experience within corrugated sheets, containerboard, paper rolls, and related packaging products is required
We're recruiting for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join a leading paper and corrugated packaging manufacturer.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to develop new business, manage key accounts and grow market share across the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic, selling corrugated sheets, containerboard, fluting paper, brown paper rolls and related packaging products.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute territory sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Generate new business with converters, distributors and corrugated packaging manufacturers
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customer accounts
- Negotiate pricing, contracts and commercial agreements
- Partner with Customer Service, Operations and Transportation teams to deliver exceptional customer support
- Identify new business opportunities through market analysis and customer engagement
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends
- Represent the business at trade shows, customer meetings and industry events
- Grow existing accounts while securing new business opportunities
What We're Looking For
- Previous sales experience within the corrugated packaging, paper or containerboard industry
- Strong knowledge of corrugated sheets, containerboard, fluting paper, brown paper rolls or corrugating medium
- Proven track record of developing new business and exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Commercially focused with the ability to identify growth opportunities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Willingness to travel throughout the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic territory
