Shifts and compensation
- Location: Forney, Dallas
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts
- First shift: 6:00am–4:30pm; Second shift: 4:00pm–2:30am
- Second shift premium: $1.25 per hour
- Overtime: Fridays and weekends as needed
- Pay: $35–$40 per hour plus comprehensive benefits
Your core responsibilities
- Install, service, and replace automation and control systems across production.
- Troubleshoot component-level issues involving servos, sensors, and control hardware.
- Resolve complex automation faults with PLCs, sensors, drives, and robotic interfaces.
- Assist with programming adjustments for Robotics and Siemens PLC platforms; execute modifications under engineering guidance.
- Perform diagnostics and calibrations on robots, AGVs, and vision systems.
- Contribute during commissioning, equipment enhancements, and process tuning.
- Lead RCA activities and implement both immediate fixes and long-term corrective actions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years in controls, automation, and robotics
- Proficiency in robotic programming and troubleshooting (KUKA, FANUC, ABB familiarity)
- Strong PLC troubleshooting and operations capability
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and wiring diagrams
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments
- Team-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
