Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Controls/Instrumentation Specialist located in McKinney, TX. The Controls/Instrumentation Specialist will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control systems, SCADA systems, and instrumentation. Day-to-day tasks include configuring and programming PLCs, performing system diagnostics, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring system reliability and accuracy. The specialist will work closely with project managers and field technicians to ensure successful project execution and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Experience with SCADA systems, security systems, and instrumentation
- Proficiency in configuring and programming PLCs and DCS products
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of wireless equipment installation, fiber installation, and control systems
- Ability to perform maintenance and preventative maintenance on control systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field is preferred
