CDL Class A Driver

Position Purpose:

The AXion Driver’s primary objective is to support maintenance repair and overhaul activities in the production plants serviced from the warehouse, while following all safety rules and recommendations.

Job Description:

Class A CDL driver for Tractor-Trailer combination (flatbed/straight truck). Local route, home daily, no overnights. 6:30 AM-4:00 PM Monday through Thursday, every other Friday 6:30am-3:30pm. Hazmat Endorsement Required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

AXion Driver will:

• Safe operation of tractor-trailer combination.
• Knowledgeable about safe and legal cargo load securement
• Able to safely operate forklift, during loading and unloading of trailer
• Lift 50 lbs.
• Able to work well with others and communicate professionally and effectively.
• Maintain environment.
• Receive small parcels and freight purchase orders. Verify incoming materials, including checking quantities, part numbers, etc.

Qualifications:

Applicant must possess:

• Valid TWIC Card
• Valid CDL A Driver's License with Hazmat Endorsement
• No preventable accidents in prior 3 years
• No moving violations in prior 3 years
• Able to pass Background/MVR Screen/PSP Screening/Drug & Alcohol Testing
• 2 years of flatbed tractor-trailer driving experience
• 1 year of forklift experience
• Experience with RF Scanners
• Stoop and bend regularly
• Repetitively lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
• Push or pull objects on carts or pallets that weigh up to 550 pounds
• Experience working in and around refineries a plus.
