Audio Visual (AV) Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Audio Visual (AV) Specialist to support executive meetings, corporate events, and enterprise collaboration technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audio/video experiences across conference rooms, leadership meetings, hybrid events, and company-wide broadcasts.
The ideal candidate is technically skilled, customer-focused, and comfortable working in fast-paced, high-visibility environments while supporting senior leadership and large audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Event & Production Support
- Plan, coordinate, and provide technical support for corporate events, including:
- Company Town Halls
- Executive Leadership Meetings and Summits
- Board Meetings
- Off-site Corporate Events
- Hybrid and Virtual Meetings
- Lead event setup, testing, troubleshooting, and live production support.
- Operate and manage professional AV equipment, including cameras, audio mixers, microphones, lighting, and streaming tools.
- Support executive presentations, broadcasts, and company communications.
- Perform video editing and post-production work for recorded meetings and internal content.
Conference Room & Collaboration Technology Support
- Provide day-to-day support for conference rooms and collaboration spaces.
- Conduct routine health checks and preventive maintenance on AV equipment.
- Install, configure, and support:
- Microsoft Teams Rooms
- Crestron Conference Room Systems
- Audio/Video Conferencing Solutions
- Collaboration and Display Technologies
- Monitor technology updates and recommend improvements to enhance meeting experiences and system performance.
Operations & Stakeholder Management
- Troubleshoot AV and conference room issues quickly with minimal business disruption.
- Partner with executives, facilities teams, vendors, and IT teams to ensure successful event execution.
- Maintain documentation, inventory records, and equipment standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve AV operations, meeting room technology, and user experience.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Audio Visual support, live event production, or corporate AV operations.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft Teams Rooms
- Crestron Systems
- Enterprise Conference Room Technologies
- Experience operating professional AV equipment, including cameras, audio mixers, microphones, and live streaming platforms.
- Experience with video editing and post-production tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical support skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during high-profile events.
- Experience supporting senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting executive board meetings and C-suite presentations.
- Knowledge of:
- Microsoft 365 Collaboration Technologies
- Live Streaming Platforms
- Digital Signage Solutions
- Hybrid Meeting Environments
- Familiarity with AV-over-IP technologies and networking concepts.
- CTS or equivalent AV industry certification.
