Audio Visual Installer - Full Time
We are looking for a dedicated Audio Visual Installer to join our growing install team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving in the field, and being part of a crew that brings complete AV systems to life for our clients.
As an Audio Visual Installer, you will assist in the installation, setup, and configuration of a wide range of commercial AV systems. You will work alongside senior technicians and project leads to ensure each system is installed with precision, safety, and professionalism.
- Install and mount speakers, projectors, displays, lighting fixtures, and other AV hardware
- Pull, terminate, and label low-voltage cabling (CAT, speaker cable, control wiring, etc.)
- Assist in rack building, equipment layout, and cable management
- Configure and set up AV devices including DSPs, control systems, amplifiers, and networked AV equipment
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks
- Follow detailed drawings, schematics, and instructions from project leads
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Represent the company professionally with clients and contractors
- Experience in audio visual installation preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Basic understanding of low-voltage systems or willingness to learn
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Comfortable on ladders, lifts, and in various construction environments
- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience with QSC Q-SYS, Biamp, Crestron, or Extron
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, switches, VLANs)
- Prior experience with lighting or stage systems
