Senior Blockchain Engineer - DEX - Austin Texas USA
Axiom is partnering with a potential unicorn and hiring a founding Software Engineer to help build a high-performance DeFi perpetuals trading platform from the ground up. Our partner is closing up a $100m Preseed round.
This is a hands-on, architecture-level role offering real ownership, deep technical work, and the opportunity to shape a core product that is already generating meaningful revenue.
The Company
A newly launched DeFi perpetuals DEX platform that has already released its token, built an active community, and generated seven-figure profits within its first few months.
A small, highly technical, product-focused team led by experienced crypto and exchange professionals, building for the long term with a focus on performance, risk management, and clean system design. Based in Austin, Texas, with a strong preference for in-person collaboration.
What we are hiring
This role suits a senior blockchain engineer who can work across the full stack with a strong backend focus. Has worked on several projects in the blockchain space and understands how DEX works. You will work closely with the founder, owning core systems and making independent architectural decisions.
Key requirements include:
- Solidity and Rust smart contracts experience or able to ramp up quickly
- Proven web3 system design and architecture skills
- Hands-on experience in Dexs, Perpetuals, AMMs, or on-chain trading mechanics
- Comfortable owning and building end-to-end
- Someone who is up-to-date with the latest AI tools, we highly encourage the use of AI to code
- Experience at big tech or established crypto companies is a plus, but not required.
