How You Will Make An Impact:
- Support and maintain a core mainframe-based policy administration system, ensuring stability and performance
- Troubleshoot production issues including job failures, system defects, and business-critical incidents
- Analyze user-reported issues, determine root cause, and implement effective solutions
- Design, code, test, and deploy enhancements aligned with system architecture and business requirements
- Generate reports and perform data analysis to support business operations and regulatory needs
- Collaborate with developers, QA, business analysts, and stakeholders in an Agile environment
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and modernization efforts
Are you an experienced Mainframe Developer ready to make an impact?
- 5 years of experience with mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, CICS, IMS)
- Strong background in production support for large-scale enterprise applications
- Experience analyzing complex systems and business logic within financial or insurance domains preferred
- Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues in high-impact environments
- Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban)
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Preferred: Experience with mainframe modernization, Assembler, IMS databases, or insurance systems
