Position Summary
Cardinal Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dependable PRN Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our hospice care team. This position is ideal for an individual looking for flexible work while making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.
The Home Health Aide provides hands-on personal care and supportive services to hospice patients in accordance with their individualized plan of care. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, respectful, and committed to providing exceptional comfort and dignity to every patient.

STARTING PAY: $19.00 PER HOUR
PRN – FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE
WEEKEND AVAILABILITY REQUIRED

Essential Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
- Assist patients with mobility, positioning, and comfort measures.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
- Observe and report changes in the patient's condition to the appropriate hospice team member.
- Follow the patient's individualized plan of care.
- Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the patient's immediate care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary hospice team.
- Demonstrate dependability and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

- Current Home Health Aide certification, as required by applicable regulations.
