Marion Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our caregiving team. The CMA is responsible for safely administering medications, supporting residents with daily needs, and helping maintain a comfortable, respectful, and supportive living environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and physician orders
- Document medication administration accurately and report any changes or concerns
- Observe residents for side effects or changes in condition and report to nursing staff
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
Qualifications
- Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to resident safety
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
