We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Site Manager to lead operations within our Aerospace business unit at our Mojave, CA facility. This leadership role is responsible for driving Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Customer Satisfaction while ensuring alignment with overall business and operational strategies.
The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing leadership experience within a highly regulated environment and possess a proven ability to improve operational performance, develop teams, and drive strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day site operations while promoting a strong culture of Safety, Quality, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all company, customer, regulatory, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and quality standards across the facility.
- Monitor and improve operational KPIs including productivity, cost, quality, delivery, and customer service metrics.
- Drive operational excellence initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for operational, quality, and EHS-related issues.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that support business growth, process standardization, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Manage financial performance including budgets, production plans, expense control, and working capital initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Engineering, and Operations teams.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and technological improvements to enhance productivity and competitiveness.
- Foster employee engagement, talent development, leadership growth, and a high-performance organizational culture.
- Facilitate effective communication across onsite and offsite teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and operational priorities.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100D standards and support all audit and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline.
- 10 years of operations and engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
- 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing manufacturing teams and operations.
- Strong experience driving operational improvements and manufacturing performance metrics.
- Experience working in highly regulated manufacturing environments, preferably Aerospace/AS9100D.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop talent and build high-performing teams.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and strategic planning abilities.
- Labor relations experience is a plus.
