Senior SAP Treasury Consultant with Quantum Experience

We are seeking an experienced Senior Treasury Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) and exposure to Quantum/advanced treasury capabilities to support enterprise treasury transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep functional and integration experience across SAP Treasury modules, treasury operations, financial risk management, and S/4HANA Treasury implementations.

This role requires a strategic consultant who can work closely with Treasury, Finance, Risk, and IT stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize treasury solutions in complex global environments.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Treasury & Risk Management

• Lead implementation, enhancement, and support activities for SAP Treasury & Risk Management (TRM).
• Manage and configure Treasury modules including:
• Cash Management
• Liquidity Planning & Forecasting
• Bank Account Management (BAM)
• Bank Communication Management (BCM)
• Debt & Investment Management
• Foreign Exchange (FX)
• Derivatives & Hedge Accounting
• Treasury Position Management
• Cash Flow Analyzer
• Deal Capture & Valuation
• Market Data Management
• Implement and support hedge management, hedge accounting, and effectiveness testing processes.

Quantum & Advanced Treasury Capabilities

• Design and support advanced treasury solutions leveraging quantum-inspired optimization and analytics frameworks.
• Support treasury forecasting, liquidity optimization, and financial simulation initiatives.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture and analytics teams on emerging treasury technologies, AI/ML integrations, and advanced reporting capabilities.

SAP S/4HANA Treasury Transformation

• Lead ECC to SAP S/4HANA Treasury migration initiatives, including:
• New Cash Management
• Bank Account Management
• In-House Cash
• Financial Instrument enhancements
• Redesign treasury processes aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices.
• Support Central Finance implementations and global treasury rollouts.

Integration & Financial Processes

• Integrate SAP Treasury with:
• FI (GL, AP, AR)
• CO / CO-PA
• BCM
• SWIFT and Host-to-Host bank interfaces
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP accounting standards and support treasury reporting, accruals, valuation, and period-end close activities.

Governance, Compliance & Support

• Ensure adherence to SOX controls, audit requirements, and treasury governance standards.
• Implement authorization concepts and treasury process controls.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops with Treasury, Finance, Risk, and IT stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted advisor to treasury leadership teams.
• Lead treasury workstreams, mentor junior consultants, and provide L2/L3 production support.

Required Skills & Experience

Functional Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Treasury & Risk Management (TRM).
• Expertise in:
• Cash & Liquidity Management
• Financial Instruments
• FX & Interest Rate Risk Management
• Hedge Accounting
• Treasury Operations
• Solid understanding of banking products, treasury operations, and financial market instruments.

Technical & Integration Skills

• Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance environments.
• Hands-on experience with:
• SWIFT / ISO20022 bank integrations
• Bank Account Management
• Treasury analytics and reporting solutions
• Exposure to quantum-inspired optimization, advanced analytics, or financial simulation models is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• MBA, CFA, FRM, or CA certifications preferred.
• SAP Treasury or SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is a plus.

Experience Requirements

• 8–15 years of overall SAP experience.
• 8 years of hands-on SAP Treasury & Risk Management experience.
• Experience leading at least one full lifecycle SAP Treasury implementation.
• Experience supporting global and multi-currency treasury environments preferred.
