Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Application Engineer to develop and enhance AI-powered employee support solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. This role will focus on building scalable applications and implementing robust quality assurance capabilities to ensure AI-generated responses are accurate, compliant, and consistently deliver a high-quality employee experience.
The ideal candidate will have strong Salesforce development expertise, experience integrating AI technologies, and a solid understanding of application quality, automation, and enterprise support platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications that support AI-driven employee service experiences.
- Build scalable evaluation and quality assurance capabilities to assess AI-generated responses.
- Develop frameworks to measure response accuracy, consistency, relevance, and overall user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with AI, Product, and Engineering teams to integrate evaluation mechanisms into Salesforce workflows.
- Implement automated validation processes to detect response regressions, inconsistencies, and policy violations.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Develop Apex classes, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and integrations to support AI-enabled applications.
- Ensure Salesforce solutions follow enterprise security, governance, and compliance standards.
- Monitor application performance and recommend improvements for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Support testing, deployment, and production releases using Agile development methodologies.
- Document technical designs, solution architecture, and implementation best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Platform development.
- Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce Flows.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external APIs and enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud and employee support workflows.
- Experience designing scalable application architectures.
- Familiarity with AI/Generative AI concepts and integrating AI-powered solutions into Salesforce.
- Understanding of quality assurance methodologies, automated testing, and application monitoring.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce deployment tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of Salesforce development and application engineering experience.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I/II or Application Architect certification preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce AI capabilities such as Einstein, Agentforce, or other Generative AI integrations.
- Knowledge of enterprise AI evaluation, response validation, or intelligent automation platforms is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
