Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pega Program Manager to lead and manage enterprise-scale Pega transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering complex Pega implementations, managing cross-functional teams, and driving strategic initiatives across Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), Healthcare, or other enterprise domains. This role requires strong program management expertise, stakeholder management, governance, risk management, and a solid understanding of Pega technologies and Agile delivery methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple Pega implementation programs from initiation through production deployment.
- Manage program scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define program objectives, roadmaps, and success metrics.
- Drive governance, steering committee meetings, executive reporting, and program status reviews.
- Coordinate with Pega Solution Architects, Business Architects, Developers, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams.
- Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise PMO standards.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve delivery challenges.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party implementation partners.
- Oversee change management, release planning, and production rollout activities.
- Monitor program KPIs, financials, utilization, and resource forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and organizational quality standards.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication across business and technology teams.
- Mentor project managers and delivery leads while promoting continuous process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 10 years of IT experience with at least 5 years managing enterprise Pega programs.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale Pega implementations using Agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Pega Platform, Case Management, BPM, Decisioning, and Customer Service Framework.
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets and geographically distributed teams.
- Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) or Lead System Architect (CLSA).
- PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification.
- Experience with Digital Transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience integrating Pega with enterprise applications, APIs, CRM, ERP, and legacy systems.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated release management.
