We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee electrical construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex projects, coordinate diverse teams, and ensure the successful delivery of electrical systems that meet all safety standards and client expectations. - Lead the planning, execution, and closing of electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project workflows.
- Develop detailed project schedules and track progress and identify potential delays early.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate system design and installation.
- Manage procurement processes including construction estimating and contract negotiations to optimize resource allocation.
- Oversee on-site activities ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code), safety standards, and project specifications.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Field Ease for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
- Monitor project costs using HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools while maintaining strict time management practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality control measures are met and resolve any issues promptly.
- Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and in accordance with contractual requirements. Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical engineering with extensive background in construction site management and electrical system design.
- Strong knowledge of NEC standards, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and system design principles.
- Hands-on electrical experience combined with construction site experience is essential.
- Excellent project management skills including contracts negotiation, scope management, and risk mitigation.
- Ability to read technical schematics accurately and translate them into successful field execution.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on time management and effective communication across teams.
