A site project engineer is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

A site project engineer is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Work with site engineering & maintenance resources to develop project scope and objectives.
- Follow project front end loading process and identify project phases and design requirements.
- Develop project estimates including equipment, construction and commissioning cost.
- Perform project financial analysis.
- Provide leadership to bring the project through the approval process.
- Coordinate project Mechanical, Process & Electrical design with in-house and contracted resources.
- Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and adhering to the plan and schedule.
- Control project costs by monitoring purchases, construction and commissioning costs.
- Assist with providing daily construction management support.
- Maintains project design and commissioning documentation.
- Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering degree preferred or 5 years of relevant project engineering experience.
- Industrial plant experience in chemical processing preferred.
- Good communication and presentation skills (both oral and written).
- Good interpersonal and Conflict Resolution Skills with the ability to influence managers, peers, and maintenance team.
- Ability to utilize other software tools as appropriate SAP, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint)
