Join AXA XL as a Broker Relationship Leader, where you will drive the growth and profitability of our portfolios across the Americas by fostering influential relationships and executing on key initiatives with brokers. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the insurance industry, robust analytical skills, and a proven ability to execute.
What you’ll be doing
What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Broker Feedback and Trends: Collect, maintain, and share broker feedback and market trends within the Americas and across AXA XL and AXA organization as needed.
- Relationship Development: Strengthen relationships with strategic brokers and distribution partners in the Americas. Collaborate with the Head of Broker Relations, Wholesale & Programs and Broker Relationship Leaders to nurture key broker relationships.
- Portfolio profitability: Enhance portfolio profitability by ensuring brokers are well informed about the AXA brand and the business appetites of various lines. Work closely with underwriters to achieve optimal outcomes on both portfolio and individual transaction levels.
- Performance Metrics: Manage and improve distribution performance metrics with strategic brokers across the Americas.
- Collaboration and Execution: Work with AXA XL E&S, Programs and underwriting teams to enhance local execution with brokers. Lead initiatives to improve the marketing placement process for greater operational efficiency.
- Product and Service Distribution: Identify opportunities to distribute new products and services with brokers. Identify select brokers that can contribute to AXA XL-AXA revenue synergies
- Service Agreements: Ensure AXA XL receives all agreed services, data, and support from select brokers, maximizing the value of these agreements.
- CRM: Using CRM system to analyze broker data and gain insight, set and monitor goals, and ensure we are capturing opportunities.
- Industry conferences & events: Assist Broker Relationship leader in organizing and executing the company’s strategy for wholesale and programs industry conferences and events.
You will report to the Head of Broker Relations, Wholesale & Programs.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
Required Skills and Abilities:
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in insurance with a focus on broker relationship management.
• Extensive data knowledge
• Exposure to insurance products, underwriting processes, and industry trends.
• Ability to travel as needed.

• Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships internally and externally
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

The U.S. base salary range for this position is USD 155,500 – 233,000.
Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual’s skills, experience and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues’ pay.
