General Description of Job:
Work closely with the Department Supervisor on overseeing the verification, labeling and storage of all incoming materials. Manage day to day assignment of Bills of Material, and identification of resources needed to assist in the management of incoming receiving volume. Act as liaison between Purchasing, Scheduling, and Production management for the escalation of issues that may cause disruption to Production.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities (Note, activities that occupy approx. 90% of time):
- Responsible for the Late PO Communication as outlined in WI-01-106
- Responsible for notification to Scheduling when issues arise that would not allow us to run scheduled production as planned
- Responsible for management of the In Process Hold, ensuring that we are controlling the area as outlined in WI-10-608
- Responsible for the management of the in-house slitting process as outlined in WI-09-411
- Assign daily tasks for material handlers including bill of materials, receiving materials, processing returns
- Assist department supervisor with proficiencies of all tasks and duties in material handling/receiving
- Responsible for miscellaneous purchase order receipts and routing packages to personnel
- Responsible for receipt of shop supplies, and putting away in areas throughout the facility
- Responsible for buyouts receiving, traceability, and routing product to buyout area
- Responsible for processing any customer returns and routing to the Quality Hold area
- Assists team on daily receipts of raw materials
- Management of the Flexo Tech schedule, including the commitment of needed materials and coordination of BOM fulfillment
- Responsible for the adjustment of Indigo material tags as needed
- Print out and organize vendor COA/COC’s received via email
- Responsible for COA/COC review, matching, sorting and delivery to Quality
- Responsible for delivery of previous days P.O.’s, Packing Lists, and BOL’s to Accounting
- Schedule prioritization with scheduler, buyers, and suppliers including review of open purchase orders for move ups and move outs
- Communicate any safety issues to appropriate management team
- Ensure there is a heightened awareness and measures are taken to prevent material damage during handling and storage
- Provide feedback related to performance reviews to department manager
- Follow ISO SOP as trained
- Follow all documented ISO 9001 procedures
Secondary Tasks and Responsibilities (Occupies balance of time):
- Participates in continuous improvement and quality projects as requested
- Participates in quarterly and annual inventory counts as required
Physical Job Demands:
This position requires being on your feet much of the working day; ability to lift 35 lbs. to waist level without assistance.

Education and Experience Requirement:
High School – OR Equivalent GED; 2-years experience preferred
Method to Measure Performance:
Employee must complete the training/orientation period (usually 90 days). They are evaluated at 6 months and one year, and thereafter at their annual review.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
