The Leaflet Finisher Operator ensures that the leaflet finishing equipment is being operated safely, efficiently, and without exhausting consumable material and/or raw materials.
- Folding/Gluing Section
- Set up the equipment to score, perf, slit, glue, and fold the preprinted flat sheet material to customer specifications as it exits the die cutter.
- Inspect material being produced from the folder/gluer for any type of variation in printing, cutting, folding, and gluing.
- Maintain the preventative maintenance regiment.
- Keep area clean and orderly at all times.
- Organize parts for folder/gluer.
- Die Cutting Section
- Responsible for setting up and operating laser die cutting machine to produce precision leaflets.
- Monitor machine cutting performance and utilization.
- Review electronic or written specifications for each job.
- Inspect leaflets by using rulers and/or other measuring instruments.
- Perform maintenance on the laser cutting machine as needed
- Lift stock to load feeding mechanisms.
