We're looking for someone who can lead people, train drivers, solve problems, and set the standard for the rest of the team.

THE SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday
Primary Hours: Approximately 10:00 PM-4:00 AM
Home Every Day
This is a leadership and coverage position, so schedule flexibility is required. Lead Drivers cover vacations, call-offs, open routes, training needs, and other operational coverage.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Train and mentor new professional commercial drivers
- Lead by example with safety, professionalism, and customer service
- Become the subject matter expert on routes, deliveries, and customer requirements
- Assist Transportation Managers with coaching and driver development
- Cover vacations, call-offs, and open routes
- Help solve operational issues and keep freight moving
- Hold yourself and others to AWH's standards
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous management, supervisory, team lead, or leadership experience required
- Commercial driving experience
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Excellent safety mindset
- Dependability and flexibility
- Someone who takes ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do
- Someone other drivers naturally look to for help and direction
