About Us Awalt Construction is a mid-sized roofing company searching for a driven Sales Manager to help grow our organization and take it to the next level.
Role Overview:
The ideal Sales Manager will oversee all aspects of the sales cycle from start to finish. You will be out in the field with your sales team to provide hands-on guidance and assist in closing deals. Additionally, the Sales Manager will take ownership of building their team by recruiting, hiring, and training all sales representatives under their leadership.
Job Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee all sales operations.
- Provide leadership to achieve operational and financial goals.
- Implement and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Establish performance goals for the sales team and related departments.
- Lead recruiting efforts by locating, hiring, and training sales staff.
Job Qualifications:
- Documented success in building teams and achieving desired sales outcomes.
- 5 years of roofing industry experience.
- 3 years of management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- College degree (Concentration in Construction Management is a plus).
- Understanding of current sales and CRM technology.
