Job Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining inventory counts and quality control procedures for incoming and outgoing product shipments. Their duties include unloading delivery trucks and checking incoming shipments against product invoices, organizing and storing shipments until they receive outgoing order requests.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Process shipments for all LTL and Full Truck Loads
- Receive, register and distributing packages within the company
- Inspecting deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria
- Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items
- Load and unload equipment and packages from trucks.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Prepare documentation for shipping and receiving (ex: packlists, reports)
- Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling regarding returns or damaged goods
- Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems
- High School Diploma or GED. Some additional training at technical school is preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years previous experience as a shipping clerk
- Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds on a daily basis
- Forklift experience and certification
Salary : $20 - $22
