POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Plant Controller leads cost accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and performance management for the Halle Drive site. This role partners closely with site management and supply chain to appropriate inventory controls and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate blends strong financial acumen with a process orientation and successfully explains financial topics cross-functionally.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions:
Commercial Finance
- Provide financial insight to monthly plant performance reviews, ensuring accuracy of data and alignment of actions to data.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of standard costing for site.
- Act as primary supply chain partner for physical inventory and cycle counting.
- Monitor key financial metrics (DOI, gross margin, cycle count accuracy, etc.) and present findings to executive teams.
- Lead site budgeting and forecasting.
Cross Functional Leadership
- Serve as the primary finance business partner to Supply chain, Engineering, and Operations.
- Provide decision support to site leadership through data analysis and performance reviews.
- Help team to document, improve, and monitor adherence to standard processes.
- Communicate the proper handling and control of material receipts, issues, valuation, and control.
- Be a reliable and trusted business partner for the liquid-cooled business.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, communicate findings, and drive continuous improvement.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and queries
Experience:
- 2–5 years of financial experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Track record of business partnership with operational leadership.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communications skills.
- Expertise in variance analysis, performance management.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
